Company
Overview
Kamanchi was
established in 2002, with a focus on providing independent
consultancy on Bond’s Adapt product, only to the
recruitment sector. We quickly built a reputation for our
work in this area, and after listening to our client’s
needs, we expanded our offering to include “best in sector”
system support and IT service delivery.
Kamanchi has grown
organically, recently moving from the initial base in
Milton Keynes to a new flagship headquarters in Grange
Park, Northampton. This enables us to expand both the
support and projects teams, as well as our research and
development area.
November 2007 also
saw the launch of our website – up to that point we had
built the business purely by word of mouth and client
referral. The web presence is a significant step for
the company, allowing us to reach a much wider audience
with our message of competent and complete delivery of
technology for recruitment companies.
Our
method of working with our existing clients is one of
“partnership” rather than “supplier”. We provide best of
breed solutions, together with intelligent strategy and
planning, which enable our clients to achieve remarkable
growth – they are not held back with IT reliability issues.
We effectively become (and are seen as) the “IT
department”, and in most clients, users may be totally
unaware that we are actually a separate company. This close
working relationship leads to the establishment of a large
degree of trust, where the interests of our company are
aligned with those of our clients. As they grow, so do
we.
Our support and
consultancy fees are clearly detailed, which means we
negotiate the best possible deal with all suppliers as if
we are the end user. This avoids any conflict of interest
in “one stop shopping” – where it is in the providers
interest to supply replacement equipment rather than
spending the required time to get the configuration correct
– this behaviour is very commonly seen in the outsourced IT
provider market.
In short, we provide
services purely for the SME end of recruitment sector,
although it is not just the smaller recruiter that can
benefit from our skills and experience. Companies
such as Robert Half, Spring, Carlisle Staffing and the Hot
Group have all benefited from our project implementation
skills or ad-hoc consultancy.
