The EMR Group

The EMR
group were becoming increasingly frustrated by their
existing IT provider’s lack of response to their issues,
and poor attention to detail when resolving them. They were
suffering from a number of IT system crashes, persistent
email issues, and an Adapt system that was not meeting the
company’s needs. David brought us in to perform an
Adapt system redesign, and was impressed by our methodical
and diligent approach to the project. He asked us to become
his IT partner, and that relationship commenced in 2004. We
effected a seamless transistion from the previous
outsourced IT provider, and we eradicated the
immediate IT instability issues, which were largely down to
poor infrastructure design and inappropriate hardware and
software. Once stability was achieved, we implemented a
total redesign, and migrated to a thin client Terminal
Services solution for all users, including the three remote
offices. This included migrations from an old network
platform and email systems which had long since been
outdated. We designed an MPLS network solution with
EasyNet, and deployed this to all sites, achieving enhanced
stability and reliability in the centrally served
environment. As with all our “IT” clients, EMR (and it’s
sister company, Ortus Interim) achieve stunning levels of
system uptime and performance, and the issues of the past
are truly behind them. On the Adapt side, we have
initiated many workflow design changes to enable to the
group businesses to provide remarkable candidate care
within their sector. We also performed a Adapt database
merge, creating one combined single database from the two
separate databases of the permanent and interim business,
whilst maintaining data integrity and independent workflows
for each business, without any data loss. As far as
we know, Kamanchi are the only independent company to have
undertaken such a project on behalf of an Bond client. With
our first class support they have been able to scale their
business from 35 to 90 consultants, and have an IT platform
that will scale as far as their business needs it
to.
Quest
Search
http://www.questsearch.co.uk
Simon Whittington called us in to assist with his IT
infrastructure in 2004. We had previously performed an
Adapt workflow redesign for Quest, and he was confident of
our ability to deliver what we promised. The Quest IT
systems had grown rapidly and without direction over the
previous 6 years, and were now straining under the pressure
of 40+ consultants. We designed and implemented a very
heavily modified Terminal Services thin client
infrastructure across the whole business, and incorporated
the latest messaging and collaboration systems at the same
time. We look after all IT requirements at
Quest, effectively being seen as their IT department. Other
notable IT deliverables included a migration to a ClaraNet
MPLS network, as part of a voice and data convergence
strategy including the Cisco CallManager IP telephony
platform across all 3 branches. On the Adapt side, we have
made many pro-active changes to the Adapt workflow to
better enable Quest to service it’s core market, and
improve consultant productivity. Quest have subsequently
grown to almost 100 consultants, and enjoy unparalleled
system uptime across all their core IT systems.
Archer
Mathieson

Archer Mathieson had
been using Kamanchi for Adapt support and consultancy for
several years. However issues with their previous IT
support company led them to ask us to step in and sort
things out, having experienced our comprehensive offering
on the Adapt side. We performed a slick handover, ensuring
that there was no business disruption. Archer Mathieson
were our smallest client when we started working with them,
at just 7 users, they have now grown to 30 users at their
Windsor location, and have recently successfully merged
with a larger Search and Selection group (100 users). We
have a strong relationship with Archer Mathieson, and they
have achieved their success in part due to our delivery of
first class solutions since 2003.
